spring break :: san francisco

I recently had the chance to take a one-day workshop with the amazingly talented Anna Kuperberg. Craig and the boys tagged along as it happened to be Spring Break. This was our first time flying Virgin America from LAX to SFO, it's now my favorite domestic airline. With the roomy seats and endless entertainment options (even chat with other passengers on board using the screen and pull out keyboard)...what's not to like?

And San Francisco..one of my favorite cities to visit...stayed at the newly remodeled Marriott at Union Square--formerly the boutique hotel 480. The boys hit the Zeum Museum where they made this:

 Then on our last full day, we took a cab over to the Exploratorium and then caught a Giant's game vs. Diamondbacks at the AT&T Park. LOVED that park! Mostly because it's clean and still new-ish. And OMG, I had the best garlic fries there! And as you will see in the slideshow, this trip was all about the food :)
